PLOT SUMMARY

Ian Curtis is a quiet and rather sad lad who works for an employment agency and sings in a band called Warsaw. He meets a girl named Debbie whom he promptly marries and his band, of which the name in the meantime has been changed to Joy Division, gets more and more successful. Even though Debbie and he become parents, their relationship is going downhill rapidly and Ian starts an affair with Belgium Annik whom he met after one of the gigs and he's almost never at home. Ian also suffers from epilepsy and has no-good medication for it. He doesn't know how to handle the feelings he has for Debbie and Annik and the pressure the popularity of Joy Division and the energy performing costs him.

Plot Synopsis:

Despite the efforts of her sleazy attorney, Mr. Butz (David Alan Grier), teen drug dealer/car thief Crystal (Natasha Lyonne) is sentenced to a 25-year prison term, the first segment of which will be served in a youth correctional facility where she will be treated for her rampant bulimia. There, in-between binge/purge marathons with her fellow eating-disordered inmates and relentless harassment of the hapless authorities, she fends off the lesbian advances of her psychotic cellmate, Cyclona (Maria Celedonio), a serial killer who's just received a life sentence. The two escape together and embark on a cross-country road trip in search of Sister Gomez (Vincent Gallo), the beneficent nun who protected Cyclona from the sexual predations of her family during her troubled childhood south of the border. Where writer/director Matthew Bright's original Freeway was a modern retelling of Little Red Riding Hood, Freeway 2 riffs on Hansel and Gretel; it borrows only the trailer-park trappings of the earlier film, making the titular allusion to automobiles somewhat tenuous.

Monkey Trouble (1994)

Plot Synopsis:

A young girl secretly adopts a runaway monkey only to have to deal with the simian's mischief-making tendencies in this family comedy. Young Eva (Thora Birch)'s dreams of having a pet are frustrated by the objections of her mother (Mimi Rogers) and allergic stepfather (Christopher McDonald). When she finds a stray capuchin monkey, she cannot resist it, and she keeps the animal -- which she names Dodger -- hidden in her room. Eva doesn't know that Dodger has just escaped from an evil organ grinder named Azro (Harvey Keitel, playing a regrettable Gypsy stereotype), who had trained the monkey to become an accomplished pickpocket. Old habits prove hard to break, and Dodger begins stealing everything in sight, landing Eva in plenty of trouble. Her problems are only compounded by the actions of the unscrupulous Azro, who wants to find Dodger and use him as part of an important robbery. The standard misunderstandings and slapstick comedy ensue, with the spunky Eva struggling to protect her new pet and herself. While probably too predictable to appeal to many adults, Monkey Trouble's skillful animal antics and resourceful young heroine may prove entertaining to youngsters.

synopsis:

As manager of the Majestic Hotel, Robert Grant is trained to handle the most chaotic situations with ease. That is, until Dunston checks in. Forced into a life of crime, Dunston is an orangutan and the captive partner of the low-life jewel thief, Lord Rutledge. When Dunston flees his malevolent master, he quickly turns a five-star hotel into a three-ring circus. Joining Dunston in his madcap antics is Robert's young son, Kyle, who rescues the young orangutan from Lord Rutledge. Together, Dunston and Kyle make some merry mischief in the glamorous hostelry, much to the chagrin of the hotel's frantic staff and befuddled guests, as well as a determined but inept animal control officer named La Farge.

Crazy Girls Undercover is a 2008 B-movie staring Clive Robertson and Nikki Ziering. The film is about a group of Las Vegas showgirls who are undercover agents working with a former C.I.A. agent (Robertson) to stop a terriorist attack. The film takes it's name from the Riveria hotel and casino's showgirls show including scene's showing the hotel and the bronzed thong and butt sculpture. During one of the scene's of the Crazy Girls show, drag queens dressed as Cher, Marilyn Monroe, and Michael Jackson are seated in the audience.
